I discovered the great weekend bags from Ali Lamu some months ago and I know for sure I will take it with me next summer holiday!
The story of a Kenian fisherman Ali Lamu and the French photographer Daniela Bateleur is like a fairytale!
They met in 2008 in Kenia, get married and got their own business, making bags out of old Indian dhow sail.
Now they have their own studio filled with artwork and bags created by two dozen fishermen. Each Ali Lamu is made by hand and unique.
