Since I quite my company I noticed that organizing both, my house and my mind, is working so healthy. You can see things clearer and you become more aware of the beautiful things around you.
This week I came across the art work from a Swiss artist Ulrich Wehrli.
I think his work is a pretty nice visual representation of what is going on in a mans mind!
The picture above are from his book ‘Kunst, aufraumen’ and they really give you a nice feeling, don’t they?
Have a nice weekend!

I am totally amazed by the new sustainable collection from Ikea : ‘Stockholm’.
Organic forms, soft lines, crafsmanship, durability and the nature as inspiration.
This complete collection has a great 50s look and feel and is available since this month.
Love it when an interior style returns. Well done Ikea!

As a dog lover, I really have to share this new artwork of Richard Jackson!
It is recently placed at the Orange County Musuem of Art in California.
Name of artwork: “Bad Dog“….
The most funniest part of it is that the giant black Labrador has lifted his leg on the side of the museum and he is marketing his territory to spray yellow paint on the side of the building! What a creative mind!

One more week and I leaving my working space at home to go to my beloved city Stockholm!!!
I visited the city a few times before and it is still an inspiring city.
What exactly it is that Stockholm gets me every time I’m not sure, but I think it is a combination of tranquility and space, landscape and light …. and the beautiful people.
Especially the light I experience is so special in the Scandinavian countries!
And how wonderful: the great international blogger event “Meet the Blogger“ ( I now have become a co-organizer of; thank you Liseloure for this great opportunity and confidence you give me) this time is in…… Stockholm!
A whole weekend (with a lovely girlfriend) meeting people with the same passion for interior design and lifestyle as I have! How exciting! They come from all over Europe and I am really looking forward meet various Bloggers finally in person and share experiences and listen to the speakers and visit the workshops!
On Sunday we will attend a special City Design Tour, how exciting is this!

Today exactly 10 years ago, I signed up at the Chamber of Commerce to start my own business. It was a very special moment after a restless time in my life.
Nowadays at the same time, again a turbulent time passed and I’m back in full life after I decided last year to quit my own business. Changes are always difficult but sometimes life forces you to make them and gives you space for new energy and challenges. And I think that is what life is about.
Therefor this year’s theme is ‘change’ and i’m excited! I found a great job where I’m working with a great combination of helping people and interior design. The environment and the projects I’m doing are so inspiring and I realize that I’m lucky person to get this job.
Also my hubbie has some great water projects to do this year in Kenia and Zambia. Also for him it is the great combination of helping people and create a better environment for them!
An other new project what i’m going to do in 2013 is the Meet the Blogger part.
I am ‘officailly’ co-organizer of the big Meet the Blogger event, a unique event for home-, design, and lifestylebloggers. The next one is in Stockholm in about 3 weeks…very annoying that I have to be there…NOT.
And a lot of new things are coming up for Meet the Blogger events this year! I’ll keep you posted!
I love letters, graphic design and art which contains statement. I found a great one about this years theme ‘change’. A very nice shop to buy these ‘word-art’ is the webshop from the Swedish designer Therse Sennerholt www.theresesennerholtshop.se
