Make me ready for Meet the Blogger Stockholm

One more week and I leaving my working space at home to go to my beloved city Stockholm!!!
I visited the city a few times before and it is still an inspiring city.
What exactly it is that Stockholm gets me every time I’m not sure, but I think it is a combination of tranquility and space, landscape and light …. and the beautiful people.
Especially the light I experience is so special in the Scandinavian countries!

A whole weekend (with a lovely girlfriend) meeting people with the same passion for interior design and lifestyle as I have! How exciting! They come from all over Europe and I am really looking forward meet various Bloggers finally in person and share experiences and listen to the speakers and visit the workshops!
On Sunday we will attend a special City Design Tour, how exciting is this!

Casa Olivi, in Le Marche -Italy

100% love for this 18th century Casa Olivi country home in the heart of Marches in Italy!
The farm is renovated completely by the owners with help from the Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jerom de Meuron.
I really like every combination which is made in this great holiday home: rough and streamlined walls, modern and traditional elements, luxury and simplicity furniture and kitchen.
The villa is decorated with design furniture from i.a. Cassina, Vitra and Philippe Stark!
The villa can be rented……..

…..but maybe we should save some money first.

Vila Campina: boutique guesthouse with great spirit

With the upcoming vacation I would like to share with you a really great place, far from the tourist crowds of the Algarve as a sleek oasis in an orange grove. We went there 5 years ago, and it’s still one of our favourites!
The owner Sofia Borges left the world of magazines in Lisbon to create this small boutique guesthouse with city savvy in the Algarve.
Built with the help of a Brazilian architect in the midst of rural farmland, a bright, white Vila Campina  blazes with modern style.
I think these great pictures of Vila Campina breathe the real atmosphere and Sophia’s created warmth and generosity!
