A stunning home for the weekend

I need to share this stunning home from the Mandelbaum’s in the Berkshires (USA) which I found in my mailbox today.
I think they did a fantastic job by building this modern house on a former campground but which fits right in with the local aesthetic.
The mix of materials they used is quite modern but also very basic: steel, cement and wood and because of this combination the house gets a soft industrial look.

I think the best part of the house is the skeleton, which is outlined inside in reclaimed wood. It gives a really amazing effect on the stairs and the floors.

Spending your weekend on a campground is not that bad!

Happy working space

I remember when I was little, playing with my brother, on a cloudy vacation day like this,  the Jenga game: pick wooden blocks out of the Jenga tower…but be careful: don’t let him fall over.
The Irish company ‘the boys and girlz’ have been extremely creative with the Jenga game, they made an XL version for their office…a very special one!

I really think such a working space is a guarantee for happiness at work!
